Gaisce Personal Skills Course
The Gaisce Cookery programme has been designed specifically for transition year students who are participating in the Bronze Gaisce Award Challenge.
Fancy yourself as the next Gordon Ramsey or Nigella?
To complete the Gaisce challenge, students have to think of a skill that they would like to develop, or improve upon. Why not cookery?
The Kids in the Kitchen course runs over 13 weeks and involves practical cookery classes that will teach students a number of cooking techniques, while also building up their recipe repertoire.
During the course students learn about different food ingredients and their nutritional value, multicultural cuisines, food hygiene and health and safety in the kitchen.
Students who complete the course will receive a Gasice recognised certificate in respect of their personal skills hours.

At the end of the course every student will have a recipe folder full of menu ideas such as
Mexican Quesadilla

Thai green curry
Mediteranean pasta bake
Indoor BBQ
Families benefit too!
Students bring home their dishes to share.
Classes accommodate up to 20 students (minimum of 10 students)
Price is €195 per student.
